The rooms at this hotel were absolutely beautiful, with excellent bathrooms. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. the location of the hotel also provided beautiful views of the countryside, adding to the overall experience. the restaurant in the hotel was also a highlight, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere.
The wait staff's dress code was not up to standard, which detracted from the otherwise smart environment of the establishment.

The hotel breakfast menu could use a little improvement, perhaps by offering more variety or adding some unique dishes to make it even better.

I had a wonderful stay at Wingrove House in Alfriston. The beautiful garden provided a safe and pleasant environment for all our meals. The breakfast menu was delicious and imaginative, much better than a buffet. Dinner was also excellent and reasonably priced, especially with the Chancellor's discount. The location is perfect, with the coast and lovely countryside nearby, along with plenty of attractions to explore. I highly recommend this charming hotel.

I had a delightful stay at a charming guest house in a picturesque village. The beautifully renovated building was full of lovely touches that made me feel right at home. The comfortable beds and nice towels added to the overall comfort of my stay. The highlight was being able to enjoy breakfast and dinner outside in the cottage garden, surrounded by the peaceful ambiance of the area. The easy access to the South Downs way made for delightful walks amidst stunning scenery. The private car park was a convenient bonus.
While the room was quite small, the good weather and the availability of a nice lounge and terrace made up for it. Unfortunately, there was no offer of refund for these items.

The room we stayed in had a lovely balcony, giving us a peaceful space to enjoy the fresh air. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Although there was no blind in the bathroom window, it didn't bother us much as the room was private. I'll recommend this hotel for its comfortable room and serene atmosphere.
